"Home Game" the movie tells the story of the youth of Netzer Hazani - an Israeli village - that was uprooted from the Gush Katif community in the Gaza strip, Israel, during the implementation of the disengagement plan (summer of 2005).
At the same time that the youth struggled against the Isreali government's plan to remove them from their homes they also struggled to win the annual Gush Katif youth basketball championship - a surreal story! The film allows one the unbelievable opportunity to see the faith, determination and human spirit of the youth of Gush Katif during a tragic time in their lives. This movie is a must see by all to more deeply understand who the people of Gush Katif were and how they experienced the disengagement plan.
